ODE TO WILD HORSES
WHO WILL SPEAK FOR US — WHO WILL STAND FOR US?
We were taken from our home
We lived at peace with the others
There was no issues and yet here we are
Living in solitude waiting to find a home.
Will you stand with me?
Will you speak for me?
Will I end up in a nice home?
Or will I end up as just a piece of meat?
Am I not pretty enough?
Is my beauty not that as others?
Why was I taken from my home?
Only to end up in a place like this.
My freedom robbed from me
By Hoomans who said we were a burden
Said there were too many of us
That we were destroying the land.
Yet they say it is ok if others
Come and stay here
We did not damage anything
But the others have a need more than us.
Will this be our fate?
Heading somewhere we do not know?
Will we ever see freedom again or?
Will we be killed because someone hated us?
Where will it all end?
SO WE ASK YOU ONCE AGAIN
WHO WILL SPEAK FOR US — WHO WILL STAND FOR ME? WILL YOU?
